Our last IICRC Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) course of 2019 will run on the 12th & 13th November, lead by Paul Pearce.

Emphasis is placed on practical application, identifying fibre, yarn and carpet constructions, dyes, style types and finishes, soiling conditions, cleaning science and methodology. When faced with on-the-job training and field experience, the technician will be adequately prepared to carry out the carpet cleaning techniques and procedures.

The Carpet Cleaning Technician course covers:

  • Pre-inspection & fibre identification
  • The difference in soil types and the chemistry of removing those soils
  • Cleaning procedures as well as carpet construction and proper installation
  • The advantages and disadvantages of the five basic types of carpet cleaning will be discussed along with spot removal techniques from any substances, including dye change and latent spots.

Consumers look for and trust symbols of technical proficiency and high ethical standards. With the logo and certification, you and your company are immediately recognisable as the industry’s best.

For those who are unfamiliar with IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning Restoration & Certification) the IICRC is a certification and standard-setting non-profit organisation for the inspection, cleaning and restoration industries. The IICRC promotes the highest level of training and certification in the industry. As a Certified Technician you will have proof that you are a fully trained operative, and that you are a paid member of a professional body, giving you an advantage over competitors and allowing you to promote yourself as a true professional.

The course is run over 2 days; a total of 14 hours training, not including exam time, lunch and breaks. The exam is optional (although you do have to take it and pass to receive the certification) at a cost of £50.00 paid direct to the IICRC. Upon passing your exam you will receive a Certificate and Technician badge in the post direct from the IICRC (please note this can take up to six weeks.) Every attendee will receive a Certificate of Attendance regardless of whether or not the exam has been taken.

Everything you needed is provided for the course, plus lunch and refreshments. If you have any dietary requirements we will be more than happy to cater for you.

Great course probably the best you can participate with even better tutor and great facility from Alltec. Worth every penny and time spend. Make sure to opt for the final test at the end of the training which will test your knowledge and if successful pass is achieved ( over 75% correct answers ) you’ll hold one of the most desired certificates trough-out the industry. Also as far as I remember the students get 20% of any detergents from Alltec when making the order after the course.
