Why exactly do you use a pump priming hose?! Air can settle in your pump, running a pump with air still inside will cause low pressure output and possibly cause cavitation damage (where air bubbles literally eat away at the pump.)   Pump impeller cavitation. Before every use it is advisable to prime the pump to remove any air. In order to do this the water pump requires an unrestricted flow of water to effectively remove air from the system, using a priming hose will help to facilitate this. (Note - using a hose with a jet will not work, the jets will restrict the water flow.)   An Alltec Pump Priming Hose will enable you to prime your pump before every use, helping to keep your pump (and machine) in good working condition. Available with either Male or Female solution coupling.   Instructions: Put clean, fresh water in the solution tank. Plug the cables into the mains supply and connect the priming hose to the machine. Turn on the pump whilst holding the hose over the solution tank, once you have a steady flow of the fresh water then turn the pump off. Connect the solution hose to the brass coupling on the front of the machine and the vacuum hose to the vacuum inlet - then the other end to your floor wand or hand tool.
