Training Schools

This is a two day course which has been created to assist you to become confident of taking on the cleaning of upholstery. It’s not unusual for cleaning companies to turn down upholstery cleaning due to a lack of understanding how to & what to look for. The idea of the course is to give you the confidence to tackle any fabric when asked and to explain to your clients that you can clean their prised upholstery. You will very quickly become a fabric cleaning specialist and be the professional, your business will be enhanced by this knowledge & training. The Upholstery and Fabric Cleaning Technician course covers upholstery fibre categories, fibre identification and testing, manufacturing of the fibre and fabric, chemistry of cleaning, upholstery cleaning methods, protections, spotting and potential problems. Attendees will have a specific knowledge about fabric and fibre content, as well as furniture construction. This enables them to identify limitations and potential cleaning related problems, on a given piece of upholstery. This 2 day school is mainly theory with some practical demonstrations. IICRC Instructor is Paul Pearce The exam is optional although required to receive the certification at a cost of £50.00 paid to the IICRC – registering before the training school is required. You will be sent a link to the IICRC once your booking has been confirmed. Price excludes VAT. Online IICRC Complete Carpet Care (CCT)

IICRC Complete Carpet Care (CCT) The Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) course is designed to teach the skill and science of carpet cleaning to individuals & businesses that want to offer a professional confident service. Emphasis is placed on practical application, identifying fibre, yarn and carpet constructions, dyes, style types and finishes, soiling conditions, cleaning science and methodology. When faced with on-the-job training and field experience, the technician will be adequately prepared to carry out the carpet cleaning techniques and procedures. The course is designed to cover pre-inspection, fabric identification, basic cleaning chemicals and equipment, and proper cleaning techniques and procedures with a residential and light commercial emphasis. This 2 day school is theory based with some practical applications. The exam is optional although required to receive the certification at a cost of £50.00 paid to the IICRC – registering before the training school is required. You will be sent a link to the IICRC once your booking has been confirmed Both days will start at 8.30am and finish approx. 5.00pm. All materials needed for the school will be provided for you.
