This is a two day course which has been created to assist you to become confident of taking on the cleaning of upholstery. It’s not unusual for cleaning companies turn down upholstery cleaning due to a lack of understanding how to & what to look for. The idea of the course is to give you the confidence to tackle any fabric when asked and to explain to your clients that you can clean their prised upholstery. You will very quickly become a fabric cleaning specialist and be the professional, your business will be enhanced by this knowledge & training. The Upholstery and Fabric Cleaning Technician course covers upholstery fibre categories, fibre identification and testing, manufacturing of the fibre and fabric, chemistry of cleaning, upholstery cleaning methods, protections, spotting and potential problems. Attendees will have a specific knowledge about fabric and fibre content, as well as furniture construction.
