Directions for Use
| Application Method | Use |
|---|---|
| Spot Treatment | Apply carefully to suitable grease, tar, gum, paint, adhesive or cosmetic stains after pre-testing. |
| Controlled Application | Apply sparingly to a clean white towel or spotting tool, then blot the stain from the outside towards the centre. |
| Gum / Tar Removal | Gently scrape away excess material first, then apply Solvall Spotter to soften the remaining residue. |
| Final Cleaning | Follow with a suitable water-based detergent or rinse where required to remove remaining residues. |
- Always pre-test for colour-fastness, fibre suitability and backing compatibility before use.
- Remove excess gum, tar or heavy residue with a suitable spotting tool.
- Apply sparingly to a clean white towel or spotting tool rather than over-applying directly to the surface.
- Blot gently from the outside of the spot towards the centre. Do not rub aggressively.
- Repeat as required, then follow with a suitable water-based cleaning step where appropriate.
Important
Always test for colour-fastness, fibre suitability and backing compatibility before use. Some fibres, dyes, adhesives and backings may be sensitive to solvent-based products.
Do not over-apply. Excess solvent may affect carpet backing, adhesives or delicate materials if allowed to penetrate too deeply.
Use only in a well-ventilated area. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flames, and follow the product label and safety data sheet for safe handling.
