Description
The Sahara is Alltec’s specialist dry-cleaning machine — the safest and most effective way to clean curtains in-situ, without the risk of shrinkage or damage that water-based methods carry. Using Alltec Dri-Sol mineral spirit, gently heated for maximum effectiveness, it can safely tackle silk, satin, traditional velvets, viscose velours, tapestries and theatre or stage curtains that no other cleaning method can touch.
Dry cleaning The Sahara uses a 60psi Shurflo solvent pump to deliver heated Dri-Sol through a 7.5m solvent-resistant hose to the included curtain cleaning tool. The 1kW in-tank heater warms the solvent to a fixed 50°C for optimum cleaning performance, and can be switched off for unheated use when needed.
Dual purpose The Sahara isn’t limited to dry cleaning — it can also be used for hot water extraction cleaning of carpets and upholstery, making it a genuinely versatile machine for operators who work with delicate fabrics as well as everyday cleaning jobs.
