Two Day Training Course
A comprehensive two-day hands-on course covering everything you need to confidently take on stone and tile cleaning, polishing and sealing work. From identifying floor materials to diamond polishing and aftercare, this course gives you the practical skills and knowledge to deliver professional results.
What the course covers:
Identifying floor and wall materials
Learn to recognise different types of stone and tile surfaces — from marble, limestone and slate to porcelain and ceramics. Understand porosity and how to test for existing sealers.
Understanding chemicals & the pH scale
Get confident selecting the right cleaners for the job. Learn the difference between neutral, alkaline and acidic products and how to use them safely for the best results.
Deep cleaning & stripping surfaces
Professional techniques for removing dirt, stains and old sealers — including safe equipment use, grout cleaning, stain removal and surface preparation for resealing.
Diamond polishing & honing
Learn about pads, resins and powders, plus the difference between honing and polishing. Includes hands-on practice restoring gloss and clarity to stone.
Sealing & finishing
Understand the pros and cons of different sealers — impregnators, enhancers and topical finishes — and how to achieve professional, long-lasting results on natural and man-made surfaces.
Maintenance & customer care
Create tailored maintenance guides for clients and build lasting relationships through aftercare services and follow-up health checks.
Small groups, maximum learning
Attendance is limited to just 14 trainees per course, ensuring everyone gets genuine hands-on time with the equipment and personalised instruction. A comprehensive manual and Certificate of Completion are included. Please wear work appropriate clothing — everything else is provided.
