Thank you, thank you, thank you!. Had a blockage in my hose on a VAX cleaner. Asked VAX how to disconnect hose from machine, they weren’t interested and apparently you can”t do so. Went into my local repair show who wanted £150 to unblock hose. Decided I would cut hose to remove blockage and repair with Duct Tape but no suction. Ordered a hose connector from you and for £11 odd have fixed the problem! Like Stephen White says, it is a tight fit but then if it was loose, you would lose suction too…wish I’d read your reply to Stephen about warming the connector before trying to fit! Perhaps put this advice on the purchase page so that lazy people like me can see it easily?
